- Providing the AI-powered residence status eligibility assessment service
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the Service
- Analyzing usage and creating statistical data (after processing into a non-personally identifiable format)
- Preventing unauthorized access and misuse
- Responding to inquiries
- Sending important notices regarding the Service
- Providing information about new features and related services (only with user consent)
Article 3 (Disclosure to Third Parties)
We will not disclose users' personal information to third parties except in the following cases.

- When necessary for the protection of life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person

Use of External API in the AI Assessment Service
The Service uses the Gemini API provided by Google for the AI assessment function. During the assessment, information entered by the user (residence status, income bracket, etc.) is sent to the Gemini API in a non-personally identifiable format. While we ask users not to enter personally identifiable information in free-text fields of the assessment form, if a user chooses to include personal information, such information may also be sent to the Gemini API. Use of Email Delivery Service
The Service uses “Resend”, an email delivery API service, for the purpose of allowing administrators to review assessment results and input data, and to improve service quality and operational management. Information entered by users is sent via Resend to an email address managed by the Office and stored there. For information on how Resend handles data, please refer to Resend's Privacy Policy.
Article 4 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies)
The Service may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve user experience and enhance the Service.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website sends to your browser and stores on your device. They allow the website to remember your settings and past access information.
2. Google Analytics
The Service may use Google Analytics, an access analysis tool provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about how users interact with the Service, but does not collect personally identifiable information. Collected data is managed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. To opt out of Google Analytics data collection, please use the opt-out add-on provided by Google.

Article 6 (Data Retention Period)
We retain collected information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes of use. Assessment information entered through the Service is not permanently stored in databases on web servers; however, for operational management and quality improvement purposes, it may be sent to the Office via the email delivery service described in Article 3 and retained as email records. The Office endeavors to delete such emails within 12 months from the date of receipt. Technical information such as access logs is retained for up to 12 months for security and service improvement purposes, after which it is appropriately deleted or anonymized.
Article 7 (Your Rights)
Users may make the following requests to the Office based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws.
- Request for disclosure of retained personal data
- Request for correction, addition, or deletion of retained personal data
- Request for suspension of use or erasure of retained personal data
- Request for cessation of third-party disclosure of retained personal data

Article 8 (Access from Outside Japan)
The Service is primarily intended for use within Japan, but we recognize that it may be accessed from outside Japan. Article 9 (Changes to This Policy)
